This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Software Engineer II, Applications:

  • You will design and implement applications software for remote robotics.
  • You will utilize development best practices, including continuous software testing.
  • You will acquire and maintain domain expertise of relevant software technologies and products.
  • You will work with the remote robotics software team to generate software requirements documents, design specifications, and software test protocols.

This position may suit you best if you are familiar with what is below, and would like to develop your career with Healthineers

  • BS Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Robotics or other related technical area required, MS preferred
  • 3 years of experience developing complex application programs required
  • Strong C++ skills required
  • Demonstrated skills in Object-Oriented Design and Analysis, with the use of UML preferred
  • Experience in use of complex state machines (FSM and HSM) preferred
  • Experience in GUI frameworks, such as QT, WPF preferred
  • Experience with OS, such as Windows, Linux or QNX preferred
  • Experience with multi-threaded software deployment preferred
  • Experience developing medical device software within FDA, ISO, and IEC guidelines preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
