Position Overview  

 We are looking for a software developer to work in the Optical Proximity Correction team within Calibre This is in the Siemens EDA division, working on Calibre Semiconductor Manufacturing products. The work will involve implementing computational geometry and computational lithography algorithms on GPU architectures. 




  • This work will involve implementing computational lithography routines on high-performance computing architectures. 

  • . You will be responsible for designing and developing internal algorithms used in the Calibre product for Optical Proximity Correction. 

  • This software optimizes photomasks so that they create a good image for photolithography processes. 

  • You will be teaming up with a senior group of software engineers and contributing to enhancements which enable the latest generation of semiconductors to be manufactured. 

  • Previous experience in EDA will be a plus, but is not required.


Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience 


  • Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or a related field. 

  • Experience with GPU. 

  • Computational geometry experience. 

  • Software development in C++ 


Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience 


  • Knowledge of microlithography and semiconductor manufacturing 

  • EDA experience 

  • Other languages (Python, TCL, Julia, etc)
