What part will you play?
  • As Senior IT Chapter Lead Project Management (f/m/d) you will lead a team of experienced project managers and agile coaches
  • All project managers lead independently IT & Digitalization projects and report in that role to the respective project authorities (e.g. Steering Committee)
  • You build and extend existing, new and reliable relationships to our internal business units as well as to our external partner and providers as foundation for successful project delivery in SFS
  • You will be responsible for ensuring the high-quality provision of IT & Digitalization projects across Siemens Financial Services (SFS) as well as compliance with legal, regulatory or compliance requirements
  • You ensure that the team can deliver a high level of performance by creating the necessary framework conditions and being responsible for the underlying guidelines, project management methodology and quality assurance 
  • In addition, you are responsible for the continuous and individual development of your team, for a structured and transparent resource management and for maximizing the business value of the projects in the organization as well as for the continuous reassessment and optimization of the IT project portfolio
  • In your area of responsibility, you will drive our transformation towards collaborative and agile IT. This includes the promotion of digital leadership skills, working in self-organized and autonomous teams, strengthening the personal responsibility of each individual, creating an environment that is characterized by trust, openness and willingness to learn & perform
  • You are responsible for the continuous improvement of IT Project Management
What you need to make real what matters.
  • You have successfully completed your studies in Information Technology, Economics or a similar field of studies
  • You are passionate about putting Digitalization in place and by this enable business in leveraging Digital Capabilities
  • You have a minimum of 6 years of relevant and profound professional experience as project manager in various roles and functions in the Financial Services area and therefore bring detailed knowledge of the financial sector, IT and digitalization  
  • You bring passion for new solutions, a growth mindset and the curiosity to learn each day something new by following the market developments and market trends
  • Traditional as well as agile project management is part of your DNA and you have a proven track record for successful projects and management of international teams
  • You have deep know how and preferably certification in project management  and/or SAFe® according to market standards 
  • You have excellent interpersonal skills and know how to convince teams, peers as well as Senior and Executive Management; your convincing appearance makes you a desirable sparring partner on all management levels
  • You think strategically and future-oriented
  • You are self-driven, intrinsically motivated, bring entrepreneurial mind-set and take ownership for your work. You work pragmatically with a “can-do” attitude
  • You have strong presentation skills
  • In addition to your native language, you speak and converse in English fluently. Other languages (e.g. German) are desirable
