This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As Biochemist 2, you will be responsible for:

•The oversight of programs such as Cycle Count and BOM & Routing Maintenance, as well as providing guidance on SAP transactions/reports for material management.

•Supporting product release, including equipment and software commissioning/validation, review of bill of materials and routings, update/creation of procedures and specifications, and providing product transfer/qualification/validation support.

•Assisting in meeting product demand requirements, by participating in continuous improvement activities.

This position includes the handling of all types of materials, including hazardous and DEA (Drug Enforcement Agency) controlled materials.

Required skills to have for the success of this role

•Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Life Science, Chemistry, or related field of study, or equivalent work experience of >10 years in a related industry or field.

•Minimum of 5-8 years of manufacturing experience; including experience in a controlled environment

•Strong mathematical and computer application skills

•Legible handwriting

•Must pass a Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) background check.

*Occasional off-shift work may be required.

Preferred abilities, skills and experience to have for the success of this role:

•You are well versed in software applications and comfortable investigating and testing digital and automated solutions to replace manual systems. Experience with SAP and automated manufacturing systems (e.g. MES) is a plus.

•You have experience in equipment and/or software validation.

•You have a robust manufacturing process background, a solid understanding of the use and calibration of laboratory equipment during formulation and can demonstrate a strong understanding of cGMP in a controlled environment.

•You have exceptional attention to detail and can provide verification and approval for quality records.  The expectation would be to provide leadership and direction, within the department.

•Identify and initiate continuous improvement activities in line within the Healthineers Performance System (HPS) framework

•The ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally

•You have an ability to effectively manage multiple operations in parallel, within defined time ranges.
