Job Description

We are looking for Chief Financial Officer for our Siemens Financial Services in Turkey.


Key Responsibilities
we would like to highlight the following areas as key priorities within the Chief Financial Officer role for SFS Commercial Finance in Turkey:

Financial Control – In addition to consistently delivering accurate and reliable budgeting and forecasting, the role is responsible for successful liquidity management, working in partnership with the Siemens Treasury teams.

Risk Control & Compliance – responsible of SOA/SOX implementation and any related governance and control practices. 

Strategic Analytics – the role is expected to develop strategic recommendations for the management team’s wider consideration, after undertaking a thorough analysis of the financial data i.e. the role is responsible for more than simply generating accurate financial data, but must ensure trends are accurately identified and appropriate measures proposed accordingly.

Leadership

  • Act as a leader who encourages a speak up culture, supports Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and empowers people
  • Gains commitment with team and peers to agreed plan, strategy, or vision by logic or rationale

– The role is responsible for the successful operational leadership of multiple functions, namely Finance, Performance Controlling, IT, Operations/Back Office, Internal Controls and Business Processing

Extensive experience in managing and coordinating the big IT projects, ideally ERP

Person Specification – Behavioral Competencies

This highlights the most critical behavioral capabilities of the successful candidate. The list is not all inclusive but highlights minimum requirements:-

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business Administration, Finance or Accounting. (MBA is a plus)
  • Min 10 years of experience from which min 5 years of managerial experience in finance sector is a must.
  • Fluent in both Turkish and English is a must
  • Leasing or banking experience will ve preferred.
  • CPA is a plus
  • Knowledge on IFRS and Turkish GAP is a must
  • Exhibits growth mindset
  • Believes in empowerment
  • High on integrity and compliance
  • Quick to adapt to the market trends and VUCA environment (in context to Turkey, ability to successfully manage the books amidst dynamic geopolitical economic situation and currency fluctuations in the market)
  • Highly resilient

  • Has an independent point of view and can be a trusted equal partner to the CEO and other Management team members
  • Strong communication skills with various stakeholders across hierarchies
  • Excellent relationship management skills (informal networks and collaborative partnerships)

  • Ability to win trust and respect of stakeholders early on
