Job Location: Issaquah, WA

This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a EHS Program Manager, you will be responsible for:

The EHS Program Manager provides technical support to the Ultrasound business unit. This position will require experience with planning and managing operational risk, operating procedures, and best practices in line with all regulatory requirements and standards.  Coordination and interaction with team members, other departments, and external suppliers. Reports directly to the Director of Facilities & EHS

Primary Responsibilities:

This position will be primarily focused on key projects that are essential to the organization.  The specific tasks include:

·         Execute site EHS compliance and management systems in accordance with governmental and company requirements

·         Development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation

·         Partner with site leaders to continuously improve the safety culture, awareness, and accountability in support of EHS programs

·         Manage projects in EHS

·         Interface with site EHS committees, as well as the Emergency Response and Crisis Management teams

·         Evaluate proposed Federal, state, and local EHS compliance laws and regulations to determine impact to compliance programs and business operations

·         Interpret laws and regulations to determine applicability for facilities of responsibility and implement programs to comply

·         Execute EHS management systems programs and associated documentation

·         Create & support environmental compliance metrics including Storm, hazardous material management, Air permits, Life Safety, Hazardous Wastes, chemical tracking and inventory programs

·         Execute audits, IH sampling, ergonomic assessments

·         Assists in pollution prevention activities

·         Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time

·         Monitor, track and provide status on a weekly basis

·         Assist in training, development of presentations and metrics

·         Participates in regular department meetings and functions

·         Travel up to 25%

Education Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety with 3+ years of related work experience OR Master of Science degree in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety OR 7 years of experience in the field of Environmental, Health and Safety

Required Experience and Skills:

·         Strong project management skills

·         Multi-tasking and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent people skills, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in Excel and data analysis, Microsoft Word, and Power Point programs
  • Functional knowledge of SAP ERP system
  • Active listening skills with the ability to understand other perspectives, needs, or expectations
  • Self-driven and capable of driving results with limited instructions
  • Proactive in ensuring timely follow through to customer inquiries or business needs, while at the same time adding value
  • Focus on delivering results while striving to continually improving performance
  • Project management skills
  • Measure and monitor site EHS compliance and management systems in accordance with governmental and company requirements
  • Development, implementation, and maintenance of EHS programs to ensure compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation
  • Partner with site leaders to continuously improve the safety culture, awareness, and accountability in support of EHS programs
  • Evaluate proposed Federal, state, and local EHS compliance laws and regulations to determine impact to compliance programs and business operations
  • Maintain EHS management systems programs and associated documentation
  • Execute audits, IH sampling, ergonomic assessments, and assists in pollution prevention activities.
  • Establish EHS training requirements at the site level
  • Complete all assigned and required training satisfactorily and on time
