The role: As a Software Manager, you will drive the creation of best-in-class clinical software for Molecular Imaging scanners devices, while partnering with Product Management, customers, and other stakeholders. You will support, mentor, coach and lead great engineers while continually improving the development and test environment with increased flexibility and efficiency.
The work of your team contains the areas of device calibration, data acquisition, data corrections, data analysis and image reconstruction. You will be working in collaboration with a cross-functional and international team involved in the development of software for Molecular Imaging scanners.
Specific Job Responsibilities
· Proactively manage Image Formation software development and test for your team
· Mentor and grow your team creating a positive and rewarding work environment
· Enthusiastically engage and collaborate with feature concept elaboration
· Build strong working relationships with your peers internal and external to the software department
· Actively participate in software department reviews, initiatives and discussions as part of the management team

· You have a passion for creating high quality software.
· You have a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related fields and preferably 8+ years of experience in developing medical imaging software (Master’s preferred)
· You have high integrity, transparency and a strong bias towards action
· You have a positive can-do attitude
· You have demonstrated an ability to structure and prioritize personal and team objectives in a complex and dynamic R&D environment
· You have technical or/and functional leadership experience with a successful track record
· You understand project management principles, tools and reporting and have worked in a SAFe/Agile environment
· You have a demonstrated ability to work successfully in international teams
· You have knowledge in medical imaging (PET, SPECT, CT, MR, etc.) and developing software in the medical industry (FDA regulated)
· Preferably you are experienced with C++, C#, CI and automated testing
