Job Description

Essential Job Functions

  1. New Product Design and Development
  2. Testing, Prototyping and evaluation of new and existing products
  3. Manage Product Lifecycle Management process for new and existing products.
  4. Support the planning of detailed product development objectives.
  5. Research and investigation
  6. Research new materials and methods of development.
  7. Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards.
  8. Plan Schedule coordinate and problem solve effectively
  9. Production support
  10. Identify and perform cost savings and product improvement initiatives

Summary of Requirements (Qualifications, Experience, Skills)

  • BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Excellent knowledge on Engineering changes, specifications and documentation.
  • 10 years of successful experience in related field, Project’s administration
  • Experience modeling, detailing and creating BOM
  • Team Center and CREO 2.0 knowledge is a plus.
  • UL audit experience is a plus.
  • UL audit experience is a plus
  • Experience with sheet metal and package is a plus
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a must
  • Discipline and pro-active, excellent teamwork and leadership skills
