Join our team as “Automotive Development - Embedded System Integrator” from any of our Siemens offices in Hungary. We also consider a mix between working from home and meeting with the team in the office.

The Scrum Team, which you will join, is developing a single product: VSTAR AUTOSAR stack targeting the automotive industry. We have been working closely together with prominent automobile manufactures around the world providing them with new features and supporting their workflow for 15+ years. We are real practitioners of agile software and product development methods, continuously improving ourselves and our processes focusing on continuously delivering real value to our customers while taking quality assurance very seriously (automated testing, continuous integration, etc.).

You’ll help our customers drive digital innovation by
  • Build state of the art automotive software systems
  • Understand AUTOSAR software and system behavior
  • Automotive technologies: Ethernet, Can, Flexray, Communication, Diagnostics, NVM
  • handling, Network management, Time synchronization, multicore systems
  • Integrate separate software components into larger systems
  • Develop embedded (automotive) software tests to prove correctness of built systems
  • Report defects
  • Automate tests
  • Develop related infrastructure in python

What do you need to realize what matters?

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in electrical engineering, computer science, informatics or equivalent
  • C programming skills
  • Knowledge and experience with any programming or scripting language highly desirable
  • Hands-on experience or passion about embedded systems
  • Knowledge of software development related processes and tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Hungarian language is required
Advantage, but not a must-have:
  • Automotive software development experience
  • AUTOSAR user level or development experience
  • Knowledge of communication protocols widely used in the automotive industry like CAN, LIN, FlexRay including knowledge of bus monitoring tools e.g. CANalyzer, CANoe, etc.
  • Experience of development in ISO certified quality system or equivalent
