Channel manager for Partner Sales Development

The role and goal of the Channel Manager Partner Sales, for the Siemens business Digital Connectivity and Power, is the development and implementation of a successful partner sales and support, with a strong focus on Technology partnerships and Cybersecurity.

As a profound expert for the partner sales development, the Channel Manager Partner Sales is responsible for partner sales development, identifying key requirements and addressing them through suitable set of sales activities in order to grow business with both existent and new Technology and Cybersecurity partners. The development of Cybersecurity business via partners is a key element of this role.

Main tasks

  • Actively develop partner management business, strengthening the setup of international partner network, with a special focus on technology and cybersecurity partner development
  • As an interface between HQ and regional sales as well as partners, you are part of the HQ Sales Business Partner Management Team
  • Maintain and expand our valuable technology partner base for the benefit of a suitable, customer- and partner-centric product offering as well as sustainable joint business along Siemens Digital Connectivity & Power portfolio.
  • Drive and develop comprehensive partner support for Technology partners including contract management, partner program integration, development of dedicated activities, up to continued sales support
  • Actively develop Cybersecurity Partners from the first contact, integration into the existing partner program, to support of projects in cooperation with the regional sales organizations
  • Act as a representative for partner management within the Horizontal Management Cybersecurity Organization for Siemens Digital Industries
  • Contribute to set up and participate in suitable partner projects
  • Participate in go to market concepts and create references in cooperation with Marketing
  • You communicate and act cross-organizationally; representing partner sales, you provide professional sales presentations internally and externally

Required Knowledge and Skills:

  • University degree (Electrical Engineering or IT Network Technology preferred)
  • Work experience in the area of partner sales with focus on automation technology, IT networking, preferably in industrial communication & identification
  • Experience in Cybersecurity
  • Project and sales experience very desirable
  • Selling of technical products requiring explanation
  • Professional presentation skills
  • Very fluent English, German would be an advantage
  • Willingness to travel
