Your new role – challenging and future-oriented
Provide business solutions and support in the field of overall plant engineering in the various CAD and CAE tool landscape, data and document management, software support and development and ensures stability of the plant engineering CAD & CAE environment which helps meeting the project time schedule
Area of responsibilities
· Project execution with scope of 3D model in collaboration with project team, internal and external partners and end customer
· Responsible for defining, coordinating and performing the set-up of plant engineering tools (PDMS/E3D etc.)
· Development on CAD tools, to define the standard procedures & guidelines and catalogue maintenance to improve CAE plant engineering environment.
· Is responsible for the realization of the solution (day to day user support on various engineering tools) with the required functionality by analyzing and solving the problem
· Coordination with the project team, IT, expert users, developers, to provide business solution timely
· Housekeeping activities / Morning check of running projects to make the project functional
· Collaboration & Coordination with the local business team and the global teams. Provide training to users on certain tool chains
· Controlling and executing tool development including preparation of requirement specification, tool selection, development, support & coordinate Tool migration / rollout
· Ability to coordinate with discipline tool experts and speakers from trouble shooting
· Coordinates to close LOPs or provide workarounds within a scheduled time period
· Focus on the software and IT aspects of the tools and coordinate with the disciplines for business requests
- Configuration management etc. It also includes the interface to module testing and integration environments.
Eligibility Criteria:
- B Tech/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering
- Power plant / Oil & Gas Industry Experience
- BIM (Building Information Modeling) experience would be an advantage
- 6 to 10 years of experience in Aveva E3D/PDMS tool administration, Catalogue/specification handling, Development using PML programming. Additional programming skill like C#, .Net, Python would be an advantage
