Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

 

Order Fulfillment

  • New Product Introduction
    • Enable Seamless Interface between R&D and Partner factory to support DFX reviews
    • Manage drawing reviews between Engineering and Factory
    • Transition part/product requirements from Eng to manufacturing partner for production
    • Ensure @ scale capital and production planning to support ramp in
    • Development of RMA processes in conjunction with customer support

  • Sustainability
    • Manage sustaining engineering requirement for mature projects
    • Drive cost reduction activities to insure competitive edge
    • Drive problem solving initiatives and bring about timely and effective resolutions
    • On-time delivery target is met

  • Supplier base for all eMobility businesses
    • Forecast accuracy to support
      • Via S&OP meeting with cross functional SI E teams
      • Manage order growth
    • Develop and execute strategy for supply chain localization / optimization
    • Support procurement with supplier framework contract
    • Consolidation analysis to support economies of scale
      • Core competence analysis and best fit selection
        • External manufacturing partners
        • Lower tier suppliers
      • Investments externally to support growth

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in engineering from an accredited 4 year university.  (Advanced degree in engineering a strong plus)
  • 5+ years of direct project management experience in manufacturing / Logistics working with captive or contract manufacturing. 
  • Experience in renewable marketplace (solar, storage, E-Mobility) is a plus
  • Prior experience in supporting of new manufacturing sites and ability to develop suppliers
  • Very strong cross functional management skills; ability to lead without authority
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 50%
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team and multi-cultural environment
