- Help define new NX CAM software functions
- Extensive use case software testing
- Working with partners and with customers in practical tasks, testing software and demonstrating new functions
- Work with Product Owners to help gather requirements, create content, including new feature videos using screen capture or cameras to capture on-machine test results
- Drafting short write ups, that can be used for market facing communication especially in the context of social media
- Conduct research and other exploration activities, as necessary
- Build Quality into all work/activities
- Should be able to relate to the development team, bridging the gap between the customer and team
- Continuously communicate to align expectations and to support a transparent and safe environment
- Self-organizing to benefit from the expertise within the team, whilst sharing/spreading that knowledge for the future benefit of the team
- Proactive and own how the work gets done
- 5+ years of proven CNC programming experience using a CAM system.
- 5+ years of “Hands-on” machining experience. This will be relevant to both the definition of functionality requirements and to on-machine testing of pre-release software
- You should be able to program a part, put it on a machine and cut it.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Will require occasional travel to visit customers, Product Owners and partners. The travel, subject to permitted travel conditions, could be both local and potentially international
