Senior Electrical Engineer- Yunex Traffic

Job Description

Yunex LLC is seeking to hire a Senior Electrical Engineer to oversee and participate in engineering design activities for EVI deployments across a North America. In this role, you will have the leadership responsibility for the overall success of assigned projects and will work closely with operations, sales and finance departments on project development and implementation of EV and electrical Infrastructure Systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the technical integrity of all related design activities
  • Responsible for on-boarding consultants as vital and being responsible for their work
  • Provide counseling to the sales team and senior management
  • Responsible for providing technical sales support with regards to EV Hardware and software solutions and industry trends
  • Responsible for setting up and leading various engineering activities such as studies, designing, budgeting, implementing, and managing projects.
  • Responsible for handling site evaluations and implementation designs for EV charging infrastructure and for efficient installation of EV charging equipment
  • Responsible for coordinating with customer to evaluate electrical capacity at every site where Yunex LLC deploys EV charging equipment to generate efficient site design
  • Act as Yunex LLC point of collaborate with permitting entities and utilities to handle permit approval process
  • Handle EV charging equipment installation and maintenance by electrical contractors, including deployment schedules and costs
  • Responsible for providing site operational support post-deployment
  • Present oral or written operational performance reports and statements
  • Maintain and apply design knowledge in medium and low voltage power distribution, grounding, lighting, motor control, variable frequency drive, EV Charging, Solar and Battery storage, and misc. equipment specification and selection.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Experience, and Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineering license
  • 5 + years in electrical design, planning and construction services
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Self-starter and Teammate
  • Ability to handle complicated priorities, sophisticated projects, and high-profile customers
Preferred Knowledge/Skill, Experience, and Education:
  • Background in ITS, utilities, and/or construction industries preferred
  • Ability to handle sophisticated projects with competing priorities, and high-profile customers
  • Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Strong social skills
  • Attention to detail
