Your responsibilities in the role
As HR Country Head for Norway, you are responsible for HR deliveries to the organization. You will be part of our Nordic & Baltic HR-team reporting to the Head of HR Nordic & Baltic Zone (NRB), and you will be working closely with other HR colleagues in the zone. Each HR colleague independently conduct their duties in their respective country.
In Norway, you will be a member of the Norwegian Leadership Team and you will work closely with the Country Head and Country Finance Head, and you will support the local managers in various People & Leadership topics aiming to unleash the full potential of our employees; the Healthineers.

You will ensure that the Norwegian organization comply with all employment legislation in the relevant jurisdictions and mitigate employment risk issues and you will be responsible for development and implementation of policies, processes and procedures in Norway and e.g., secure that the local employee handbook is kept up to date accordantly.
As an additional responsibility to the HR deliveries in Norway you will also be responsible for operational recruiting outside of Norway - especially in Sweden and Denmark. You will coach and collaborate with the hiring managers as well as screen, interview and give final candidates feedback on tests and assessments. The administrative recruiting is handled by a group of student workers, and it will be your responsibility to coordinate tasks and responsibilities with them. Together with the talent acquisition community in Siemens Healthineers and with your HR colleagues in the zone you will ensure that we are using the best recruiting processes and tools to attract and hire the best talents. 
You have access to a team of Compensation and Benefit specialists and a team of administrative HR experts who support you with HR-IT infrastructure, employment contract creation, payroll services, delegation support etc. These colleagues are physically located in different European countries but dedicated to support you and your colleagues in the Nordic and Baltic Countries.
Occasionally there are global or regional projects that you may participate in as an HR or country representative.

What do we expect from you?
You will be part of a continuously changing work environment and you have experience with leading changing processes. You are furthermore familiar with Norwegian labor law and used to dealing with complex and sensitive people issues. You are able to support people managers with their ad-hoc questions regarding employment conditions. 
There are several ways to qualify for the position. You might have a background as HR Consultant or HR Business Partner with broad knowledge of HR. Or maybe you have worked with talent acquisition for several years and now feel ready to expand your HR pallet. No matter what background you have, it is essential that you get motivated by working with many aspects of HR such as coaching managers, recruiting, handling personnel cases, process implementation, reporting tasks etc.

About You
You have a hands-on approach to HR, and you have a passion and the ability to proactively derive HR initiatives from business requirements, as well as being a team player who enjoys working in intercultural teams. To be successful it is important that you enjoy administrative as well as tactical and strategic tasks: More specifically, you have the following skills and experiences:
  • Several years of relevant experience preferably from an international organization
  • Strong business and HR acumen, ability to engage with the business and understand goals and needs
  • You have a “can-do-attitude” and you are service minded and agile in the way you work
  • You have thorough experience with and interest in handling administrative and operational tasks effectively
  • You naturally communicate in Norwegian and English on all levels of the organization
  • A university degree in HR, Labour Law, Labour psychology or business administration would be beneficial
