Position Overview

As an SAP IT Applications Analyst, you will facilitate support of our Global SAP Financial Accounting solutions to enhance business functionality and overall performance, while maintaining a high degree of customer satisfaction. In addition, you will partner with customers to analyze and define requirements. Analysts in this IT support role will implement, customize, test solutions, write documentation and develop specific enhancements to meet business requirements as needed.


  • This IT Analyst role will provide functional and technical support for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, Fixed Asset, Travel, GL systems.
  • IT Analyst will be providing end user support using Service Now (help desk).
  • Responsibilities will include SAP system configuration and support, integration design, system enhancement design, issue resolution and process improvement.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with the business to understand their goals and ensure alignment with IT systems.
  • Work with business and IT representatives to design, implement and test solutions using SAP standard functionality.
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with teams.
  • Ensure that effective support mechanisms are in place for long-term sustainability.
  • Candidate must possess critical thinking and prepare test and process documentation as required.
  • Desired skill set includes experience documenting business processes and configuration.
  • Maintain, enhance, and provide upgrade support for SAP FI modules and their integrations based on business requirements

SAP Configuration and Process Expertise are needed in the following areas:

  • Accounts Payable
  • Accounts Receivable
  • Fixed Assets
  • General Ledger
  • SAP Query

Required Skills, Education or Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years’ SAP Finance configuration experience
  • Basic accounting skills and understanding
  • Analytical skills are a must
  • Overall knowledge of SAP Finance solutions (end to end)
  • Knowledge of SAP purchasing and implications downstream to finance postings
  • Good working knowledge of SAP query (i.e. SQVI / SQ01) (create/edit)
  • Candidate must possess strong presentation and English communication skills with ability to communicate with all levels of the global organization.
  • Self-motivated analyst with deep understanding of business processes.
  • Skilled at working with all levels of personnel and management on a global basis.
  • Strong team player, proactive learner keeping knowledge and skills up to date, adaptive and willing to work with team members and end users of varying backgrounds.

  • MS Office Product Suite
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Experience with supporting SAP user security roles
  • SAP Business Trip
  • SAP Concur
  • Experience implementing SAP for multiple countries on a single global instance.
  • Desired skill set includes experience documenting business processes and configuration.
  • Travel (<20%) may be required
