Location: Nürnberg (Germany) or any other Siemens Locations worldwide

What part will you play?

  • You will take the lead for Digital Industries (DI) Pricing to leverage competitive advantages in terms of agility and margin by delivering best-in-class Pricing Strategy & Execution as well Pricing Management Processes & Analytics in close collaboration with DI Regions and Business Units. With this you serve the complex DI Business portfolio from Software, Service, Hardware, and System Business.
  • You will define and guide pricing models, strategies, and implementation in New and Digital Business Models with specific focus on Software-as-a-Service and the Siemens Xcelerator portfolio.
  • You will craft and form a fit-for-future DI Pricing Team, Network and Community with Pricing Experts in DI Sales, Business Units and Sales Regions. Working closely with regional sales will be key to ensure customer centricity and sales efficiency.
  • You will define and implement the future DI Pricing Strategy based on DI’s Pricing NorthStar and extend existing pricing building blocks for fit-for-purpose DI Pricing. Thereby you will lead our global DI Pricing Program.
  • You will lead the path of transformation with BUs & regions to leverage competitive advantage and to achieve margin improvement with price enforcement potential of new pricing strategies, levers, and tactics.
  • Furthermore, together with the team you will lead DI NextGen Pricing within a global ERP Business Transformation Project.
  • You will empower, enable, and coach the global DI Pricing team/ network (Business Units and Regions); closely liaise with stakeholders in Business Units and Regions
  • In addition, you will lead Thought-Leadership, Continuous Improvement and Best practice Sharing. 

What you need to make real what matters.

  • An academic degree of Engineering, Business administration, Finance, or equivalent studies
  • You bring with a proven track record of +7 years’ experience in similar capacity with focus on HQ and regional pricing strategies in Automation and Software business – and specific in IT/OT Integration and SaaS Software Business.
  • You bring proven track record of +7 years with strong leadership experience and interaction with Executive Management.
  • You have expertise and exposure to new pricing models (g., value-based pricing, AI-driven pricing etc)
  • You will navigate unchartered territory and to lead a team/community through change process with the ability for hands-on business support with tangible deliverables
  • Your leadership style is characterized by a building network & relationships, open-minded, challenging status-quo and defining the framework for the future oriented development. Your negotiation skills are outstanding.
  • You are self-reflecting leader, you ask and give feedback your peers, managers, and employees by addressing strength and weaknesses in trustful manner.
  • You setup and communicate clear targets. You have capability to setup early warning indicators and define measures in case of any deviations.
  • You can structure complex content and processes and make your decisions based on data.
  • You make people development, succession planning and diversity a priority.
  • You will offer a real leadership with empathy and act as a role model. Being Passionate, eager to learn, driving topics proactively and being resilient in the VUCA world
  • Proven track record for leading teams successfully incl. change management
  • International experience is highly appreciated 
  • Strategic and operational understanding
