As Project Controller, all financial and contractual issues during the proposal phase and during the realization of our projects are part of your span of control. You are primarily part of the quotation team that is responsible for producing a good quotation. During the realization of projects you will be part of the project team and together with the project manager you will ensure that the project objectives are met. In this position you will be working in a department that is working hard to make the energy transition a reality, both nationally and internationally.
Day to day business:
- During the quotation phase, contribute to the preparation of an estimate and the quotation.
- As part of a team, review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and customers.
- Coordinating supporting processes (insurance, credit check, taxes).
In addition, as Project Controller you will also be involved in the execution of these projects. Hereby your activities mainly consist of:
- Financial and contractual management during the realization of the projects.
- Supporting the Risk & Claim strategy.
- Displaying correct and timely management information in order to make timely adjustments.
- Preparing Forecast/budget information with regard to the projects.
- Calculating, negotiating and supervising changes.
The Project Controller works within Smart Infrastructure, in the team led by Gerbert, head of Business Controlling Electrification & Automation. This business unit takes care of the supply and installation of Energy distribution systems in data centers in The Netherlands and abroad (global center of competence for data centers). We are one of the world's leading suppliers of products, systems, solutions and services for a sustainable, reliable and efficient distribution of energy. This division also develops innovative solutions to cope more intelligently with fluctuations in supply and demand and thus keep the energy network reliable and available. For example, through facilities and systems for the low-voltage and distribution power network, smart grid and energy automation systems, and power supply for industry.

Your background
- Completed a university or higher vocational degree in Business Administration/ Economics;
- Experience in risk, claim and contract management.
- Insight into SAP R/3 Business Warehouse, MS Office, IFRS and SOX.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and prefably Dutch.
- Shown experience working in a sophisticated work environment.
- You are critical, entrepreneurial, not afraid to speak up and have self-confidence.
