  • This role is about the future of energy monitoring and control, making an important contribution to the energy transition and digitization of tomorrow.
  • As Business Development Manager & Strategy Lead (f/m/d), you are responsible for the development of new business areas in the Grid Control solutions business and define dedicated growth strategies.
  • You ensure the systematic expansion of market shares among target customers (regardless of sales channel) through independent acquisition and in close coordination with the regional contacts.
  • Understanding of the installed base of Grid Software system and develop upside potential with global/major accounts.
  • In addition, you provide regional market and competitive information as well as regions with specific solution requirements.
  • As a solution provider, you act on an equal footing with our customers and regional contacts.
  • Together with the regions / sales units, you will develop country specific Go2Market strategies (market / competition analysis / accounts / new customer acquisition).
Your profile for "Making the future possible".
  • With your university degree in electrical engineering, business administration or a comparable field.
  • You have many years of relevant professional experience in sales or business development in the field of solutions business.
  • You have industry knowledge from the energy sector, ideally grid control.
  • You are familiar with the relevant standards, market structures and conditions as well as the behavior of the competition.
  • Social media networking and the use of digital tools is not a big challenge for you.
  • You have in-depth knowledge of MS Office, especially in the creation of PowerPoint presentations and bring a good understanding of software business process, CRM tools.
  • Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
  • Strong in communication, persuasion, and presentation skills, empathetic and creative in interpersonal relationships.
  • You present confidently in English and convince your interlocutors of your solutions through your confident appearance and analytical skills.
