What part will you play?
Develop, implement, and perform complex technical assignments related to Electricity Energy Markets Management System (EMM) software applications. Analyze, design, program, troubleshoot, recommend solutions, perform enhancements, provide technical support, and implement modifications associated with the EMM System applications. The position requires effective use and modification to the solution techniques in Power System Operation for Unit Commitment, Generation Dispatch & Control, Transmission Constraints modeling and knowledge of Optimization Techniques.
Perform problem resolution including performing root cause analysis and interacting with customer and application engineers.
Provide support and knowledge transfer to customer engineering staff to apply changes to the real time Market applications.
Use your skills to move the world forward!
Software application development experience in high level language preferably C/C++, SQL, PL/SQL, Perl and Python.
Knowledge of git and CI/CD is a plus, Experience in working on Linux environments is a plus.
4 + years of Experience in either or a combination of the following functional areas:
Experience in modeling and solving Energy Market Clearing optimization Problems
Commitment, Automatic Generation Control, Economic Dispatch
Network Application such as Power Flow Analysis, Security Analysis, State Estimator etc…
Modeling and solving Financial Transmission Rights (FTR), Congestion Revenue Rights (CRR) or bidding strategies.
Market analysis and study using Monte Carlo Simulation and any other established simulation techniques.
Conceptualization ability, Self-direction, Communicative & socially confident & Influencing ability.
