Job Description

What are my responsibilities?

  • Mission:
  • Provides specialist advise in responsible area of expertise.
  • Delivers guidance/ defines procedure to support/contributes to cross-functional teams and management.
  • Works on the implementation in accordance with guidelines as well as ensuring execution: logistic coordination, SGA addressing, Stock management, Digitalization development, etc.

Areas of Responsibility:

Logistic:

In-depth understanding of relevant LOG KPI and definition: Delivery Reliability, Delivery Capability, Leading Time. Ability to perform KPI data analysis and sustainable optimization towards entire log-chain from BU perspective:

  • Identification of abnormal cases or shortcoming, and define and implement the improvement measure.
  • Coordination in full range steps of  logistics procedure. Provides proactively advice, ideas and drives decision  proposals to counter-parts and decision makers, and proactively works on business problems and opportunities to achieve strategic optimization.
  • Logisitic cost development monitoring/abnormal case identification and relevant remidation on problem solving orientation
  • Project involvement/Execution,
  • ad hoc case handling

Stock management:

In-depth understanding about methodology for stock initiation, replenishment points and safety stock level control.  Act as guardian and voice of the BU stakeholder to optimize PTS management, initiating improvement and adaptations.

  • Ability of prediction and control on stock operational risk;
  • Active communication with PMs for business development.
  • Active communication with SCM for supply capability.
  • Active communication with LOG for lead times.

E-Biz

  • Comprehension of on-line business concepts.
  • Knowhow on Ebiz orders and specific procedures.
  • Ability to control and keep Ebiz stock on a rational level.

Data Analysis:

  • Develops data analysis to support decision making and process automation or optimization.
  • Collects & analyzes (big un-/ structured) data with cutting-edge methods. Supports decision process by recognizing patterns, trends or anomalies. Interface between IT & Business.

Digitalization:

Key user of financial IT-systems, being skillful in Qlik, Mendix, RDA and other digital platform/tool. Efficiently carries out routine tasks of standard reporting. Provides on demand answers for mgmt. and business-related questions.
