You will play an intrinsic part of the development process using the Mendix platform. Define the Services account strategy, and facilitate and support the successful generation of revenue against financial goals derived through the Services delivery business across the account portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Expert Services 
The goal of expert services is to enable the ecosystem in building solutions in Mendix in ANZ
  • Build, maintain and develop a strong and diverse expert team focused on the Mendix platform
  • Develop Digital Transformation Programs and Project Services propositions in the context of the Mendix Low-code Platform for Customers and Prospects in conjunction with Channel Partners and (Global) System Integrators; closely align with customer business needs
  • Provides direction in Services coverage and capacity planning and alignment with the Services delivery teams and Customers
  • Oversee project execution to potentially identify issues in a timely fashion and propose mitigation accordingly
  • Oversee Implementation of solutions to business and technology challenges and recommend creative approaches to solve clients’ business problems using existing Mendix Low-code Platform Methodologies
  • Optimize service utilization to maximize revenue streams
  • Supporting Clients in enabling them to become self-sufficient with the Mendix Low-code Platform

Partner Services
Partner enablement is an integral part of our ability to service the ecosystem. Helping others succeed multiplies our success and is, therefore, an important focus of this role
  • Supporting Channel Partners and (Global) System Integrators, in enabling them to become self-sufficient with the Mendix Low-code Platform
  • Actively interface with our Alliance team and GSI managers to identify and establish relationships with local partners

Trusted Advisor
Next to building a strong Mendix capability and capacity, the role requires acting as a trusted advisor to key accounts and colleagues alike in APAC
  • Oversee Mendix Digital Transformation Programs and Mendix Delivery Projects; plan, direct, and coordinate activities. This encompasses proposal and engagement development including scope definition, delivery approach, articulation of risks, assumptions, and dependencies, team structure, roles and responsibilities, and governance model 
  • Manage personnel decisions such as recruitment, training and development, and performance management, in line with relevant regulations for the area of responsibility
  • As a thought leader spread knowledge and enable colleagues in the APAC region
  • Lead our clients through their digital transformation in the context of the Mendix Low-code Platform – providing thought leadership, strategy, and guidance to develop and execute their transformation plans using the Mendix App Factory Framework and Methodologies
  • Manage the creation of a client’s Mendix Center of Excellence in ANZ; leveraging agile to drive sustainable implementation and deployment of the Mendix Low-code Platform
  • Support baseline assessments and post-implementation analyses to evaluate, track and articulate the value realization of Customer business benefits in the context of the Mendix Low-code Platform
  • Facilitating Mendix Portfolio Workshops with customers to understand their Application Portfolio and roadmap 

Thought Leadership
As you live and breathe the Mendix and Low-Code you evangelize this in your country/region
  • Engage marketing in events by presenting the Mendix Low-Code approach
  • Actively engage and enable the community by for example creating and managing meetups
  • Drive educational initiatives to cultivate Mendix ambassadors for the future
  • Working closely with other Mendix and low code evangelists to advance and refine the Mendix narrative

Country Leadership
Bringing your many years of experience to bear you are a key advisor in determining the direction and execution of the business as a whole
  • As part of the leadership team you help formulate strategic initiatives and support their execution
  • Interface with global programs that can benefit executing your responsibilities
  • Support and participate in county review and evaluation activities for senior regional or global leadership

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of Implementation and Management Consulting experience with Mendix Low-code Platform application development
  • 5+ years leading Mendix Digital Transformation Programs in large, complex organizations
  • 5+ years of being Mendix Advanced or Expert Certified is a mandatory requirement
  • 5+ years of proven Mendix experience in building successful highly educated teams in the IT development space
  • Broad-based understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrated track record of anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders with the ability to work with senior-level executives across multiple business lines and regions
  • Experience in driving innovation, and organization-wide change management initiatives
  • Capable of applying knowledge of the business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals, having the foresight of possibilities, and translating them into breakthrough strategies
  • Makes sense of complex, high quantity, and sometimes contradictory information, to effectively solve problems
  • Liaison and consultative skills: negotiating skills within a context of high political sensitivity and conflicting interests
  • Adaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity, and change.
  • Exceptional leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical and non-technical experience; competence in clear concise, and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers, and team members
  • Ability to operate in a heavily matrixed organizational environment
  • Bachelor or Master’s degree required
