As a Resource Manager Infrastructure Practice on the Siemens Digital Industries Software Americas Sales and Services team, you will manage a delivery team of 10+ professionals delivering high quality, value-driven deployment consulting, and providing technical expertise to meet the goals of the business. You will be responsible for people management and growth of direct reports, supporting resource demand and capacity planning within your practice, and maintain deep product knowledge within domain driving best practices and offerings. You will also help drive our evolution from on premise to cloud solutions for adoption. The Resource Manager will report into the Infrastructure Practice Manager in the Americas Services Delivery Group.

Ability to work within a team environment and collaborate with Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow a team within Practice domain of highly skilled consultants to support customer deployment projects driven by Business Units and Countries in the Americas Zone.
  • Work closely with services resource managers, engagement managers and project managers to manage Direct, Indirect, and GDN eco system of resources to support Business Unit / Country customer activities to support staffing needs. Support Pipeline demand with capacity plans for your Practice group.
  • Manage Practice activities to maintain strong metrics for Billable Utilization, Project Utilization, Cost Recovery, and Customer satisfaction
  • Support BU’s and Country organizations with technical expertise during Sales pursuits, Statement of Work authoring, deployments, and escalations.
  • Drive product knowledge and expertise within Practice group by being aware of Product Roadmap alignment, sharing field experience with Product Development, and having a deep understanding of product deployment, on cloud and on premise.
  • Enable Services team on deployment automation (CI/CD) for products in the Siemens software suite.
  • Support Sales / Services Business Unit campaigns and services offerings by leveraging content with Global teams thru CoP Interlock, support creating Service Offers for best practice deployment with specific focus on infrastructure, security, and cloud deployments.
  • Share and enable Services teams with material and content to be leveraged with customers that adds value. Leverage Learning Services and Internal Enablement teams and resource managers.
  • Undertake regular performance appraisals and Growth Talks with direct reports. Provide coaching and mentoring to support growth activities agreed to with individual employees.
  • Uphold the professional integrity of Siemens policies at all times.

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in IT consulting services, preferably with Siemens Digital Industries Software
  • Knowledge and experience with PLM and MOM deployments and configuration with specific focus on; installation, deployment automation, security, and cloud formation (AWS, Azure).
  • Demonstrated team leadership or people management skills
  • Ability to lead technical conversations within the PLM and MOM infrastructure domain with your team and with groups outside of Services to drive product changes, enablement and service offers.
  • Proven soft skills, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate to all levels within Siemens Digital Industries Software.
  • Ability to develop metrics for employee development milestones and strong attention to detail
  • Exercise professionalism and confidentiality when dealing with sensitive employee information
  • Travel as required fulfilling the above roles and responsibilities
  • Position can be remote or based in the DFW area, Rochester, Milford, or Detroit area.
