Your future role:

Become part of our Digitalization team in Singapore to transform the Service Business of Siemens Smart Infrastructure. The Digital Service Center is at the center of this ongoing journey, ensuring proper delivery of all digital services towards our customers as well owning the necessary enablers like digital tools, cloud applications and related processes. The digital services delivered by the DSC span from Remote Support over Managed Services to Data Driven Services, using advanced analytics to optimize building operations and energy consumption.

The Head of DSC is part of the country management team and works in close collaboration with local and regional stakeholders from business lines, portfolio teams and customers to define the future of building related services.

Your responsibilities - challenging and future-oriented:


  • Provide vision, leadership and governance for the local DSC team

  • Responsible for DSC team operations - availability and delivery of committed services as part of customer contracts and projects

  • Identify opportunities for digital services together with business lines, provide pre-sales / consulting support and remove organizational barriers for strong teamwork, collaboration and excellent service delivery

  • Develop new use cases & services by utilizing local and global innovations and matching them with market demand; challenging the status quo of traditional service delivery

  • Define strategy and implementation plan for strategic digital initiatives and deliver against them in close collaboration with business lines and management

  • Ensure continuous improvement process to achieve efficiency gains and highest quality to meet constantly raising expectations from customers

  • Define common KPIs across all services in alignment with business lines, ensure compliance and take necessary action where needed to close gaps

Your qualifications

  • The basis for your success is a Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar experiences

  • Strong leadership and execution skills, driving results with customer focus

  • Experience in managing innovative, technology driven teams that challenge the status quo

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skill with the ability to understand and manage the dynamics of a complex matrix organization

  • Operational experience in service, project management, strategic planning and sales-related functions is an advantage

  • You are characterized by your willingness to learn, analytical and communicative skills as well as by your problem-solving orientation

  • Ability to build strong relationships across diverse groups, translating technical concepts for business audiences, and business concepts for technical audiences.

  • Understanding the building services market, its challenges, trends and competitors is desirable

  • You are confident in handling MS Office365 applications

  • Fluent in English
