Localization Manager

Job Description

Siemens DISW is looking for a skilled Localization Manager to join our Learning Services organization. The Localization Manager is ultimately accountable for making Siemens DISW learning products and services accessible in other languages. In collaboration with Learning Services and business stakeholders, the Localization Manager serves in a cross-functional role to scale and accelerate localization of training material. This includes identifying and prioritizing high return areas of investment, selecting and managing external vendors and contractors to support translation efforts, and providing general recommendations for process refinement and efficiencies.
The Localization Manager is also responsible for configuring and maintaining the translation management system, keeping inventory and repository of all localized content, quality assurance of content based upon country standards, and improving software for a multilingual operation.
In addition, this role will manage resources to coordinate the execution of localized material from start to finish as well as adhere to project timelines, and maintain communications with all relevant stakeholders on a given project.
