• In this role, you will strengthen our project purchasing for the locomotives / Rolling stock domain.
• You will be responsible for the strategic purchasing function in national and international projects, to which you will belong as a member of the core team for the period of bid or project processing.
• Responsibility for the sales requirements for sourcing and coordinate the purchasing-side offer strategy and its successful implementation.
• Ensure that the material cost and deadline targets are met and, in the event of deviations, initiate countermeasures in coordination with the specialist purchasing department.
• Risk and opportunity management are also part of your area of activity, as well as the derivation of solution approaches for procurement-related tasks in the project (e.g. adapted negotiation strategies, supplier and logistics concepts, etc.).

Use your skills to move the world forward

• You should have minimum experience of 10 years with bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics along with experience in strategic purchasing, bid management or project management.
• Technically highly complex capital goods projects (e.g. plant construction or railway technology).
• You are also characterized by practice in working together in intercultural and interdisciplinary teams.
• You must have knowledge of the digital acquisition and processing of complex data and the automated transfer to a widely usable information base (e.g. "Dashboard").
• Good Communication Skills
