We are looking for a motivated individual with affinity for digitalization, seeking to grow and develop in his/her career by becoming a Financial Analyst within the Smart Infrastructure division of Siemens. This position reports into the Performance Controlling team.
The Financial Analyst will work closely with all business units within SI as well as CFR, GBS and the entire SI Performance Controlling team (local and global). This role is responsible for the consolidation of BU reporting and leads the consolidation process for Budgeting and Forecasting. In addition, he/she will be driving the monthly/quarterly/ annual closing processes while ensuring that the Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines are followed. Significant time will be allotted to drive digitalization and automation through the SI finance organization.
The Financial Analyst must possess strong analytical and inter-personal skills as this position will communicate with multiple levels of management and controlling.
Responsibilities
Responsible for monthly reporting package
Drive digitalization and automation of controlling, reporting and planning process and tools
Perform financial statement validations and execute corrections in the systems (E1P, COPA, ESPRIT)
Ensure data accuracy in all relevant financial systems (E1P, ESPRIT, Hyperion) and that closing deadlines are met
Lead Hyperion FC process and coordinate with all SI Business Units that the FC is submitted accurately and on time
Support and coordinate organizational structure in all relevant systems with the SI Business Units
Provide training and support for Hyperion, ESPRIT and SAP E1P
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:
3 + years of demonstrated ability in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and reporting
Extensive experience with SAP, Hyperion Essbase & CMPLAN
Desire to be an active participant in a successful team
Detail oriented, but able to synthesize complex topics for consumption by both executive management and colleagues
Ability to optimally manage deadlines, prioritize and multi-task
Advanced in MS Excel, Power point
Experience with KNIME, Tableau and ESPRIT is a plus
Ability and willingness to drive process improvements across Siemens organizations (Siemens Corp, GBS)
