The Senior Planning Manager is the responsible for providing directions in compliance with the Projects Planning and Schedule, Progress Measurement Plans and Procedures.

Main Tasks
• Provides direction to the Project Regional organizations with respect to the implementation of Projects Planning and Schedule, Progress Measurement Plans and Procedures.
• Supervises and responsible for Long Range and Strategic Planning activities for Projects including Major commodity demand forecasting and Manpower requirements.
• Audits different projects to ensure that they are in compliance with the Projects Planning and Scheduling Plans and Procedures
• Responsible for the update of Planning and Scheduling Procedures.
• Responsible for generating Level 0 and Level 1 Master and Milestone Summary Schedules based on Regional inputs (with a team of planners reporting to him).
• Assists Project Directors in providing independent evaluation/recommendations of Contractor Baseline Schedules.
• Participates and monitors the Overall ownership of the Schedule Risk Analysis process, from establishing through delivery updates and reporting and serves as the primary reviewer of the projects’ Quarterly Schedule Risk Analysis Report.
• Provides input to Sectors with respect to Asset and Infrastructure Development schedules during Initial stages.
• Functional coordination with Sectors, Departments, as well as Project Delivery teams.
• Building and developing a high-performance functional Planning team within the Projects Department for the development of Key programmes and to deliver Strategies.
• Identifying and implementing the latest technologies, processes and systems.
• Summarizes Program Level Reporting into concise and transparent Executive Management Reporting
• Reviews Program Cost and Schedule Reports and compiles key information into Executive Level Reporting
• Reviews Program Risk Registers and compiles key information into Executive Level Reporting
• Provides direction to Project organization with respect to the implementation of Projects Planning and Schedule, Progress Measurement Plans and Procedures

Experience & Knowledge required.
Comprehensive (deep and broad) professional know-how and experience in international railway projects. 
At least 10 years of experience as Senior Planning Manager in large international projects (budget > €50MM).
Advance technical knowledge of IxL, ERTMS, and Centralized Traffic Control systems. Main line and mass transit systems with different grades of automation 
International experience. Experience in global interaction with customers/partners/providers from multiple countries.
Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
Proficient spoken and written English
Travel required
