This is a role well suited to an ambitious professional, looking for the next step in their career. As a Consumables Test Engineer II, you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the development team to test prototypes and make recommendations for changes based on test results.
  • Developing test fixtures for performance testing.
  • Designing test plans, test protocols, and test scripts.
  • Performing verification and validation activities for new and existing products, devices, and processes.
  • Preparing detailed reports based on results of verification and qualification tests.
  • Facilitating reviews with cross-functional team members.
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis of test issues.


  • BS degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering required.
  • 4+ yrs experience in medical device industry desired.
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communications skills required.
  • Attention to details, organizational skills, and time management skills are required.
  • Experience in Verification and Validation of Medical devices desired.
  • Experience in Validation of Test fixtures/methods desired.
  • Experience in test and measurement software development using tools such as LabView, Python, or MATLAB required.
  • Experience in the use of CAD tools (SolidWorks preferred) required.
  • Working knowledge of Basic Statistics required.
  • Six Sigma Training / Certification desired.
  • Minitab or comparable statistical software experience desired.
  • Expertise in use of Microsoft Office, such as Excel and writing macros are desired.
