Senior EHS Expert (f/m/d) - For Global Governance

  • You will support the Department Head with fulfilling our EHS responsibilities and ensure compliance in collaboration with our international network 
  • Therefore, you will liaise with local EHS experts in our operations around the globe, as well as with external associations, authorities, customers, suppliers and consultants.
  • Additionally, you will develop, establish and govern respective processes that meet operating sites and business needs, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to our sustainability strategy
  • You will also define the global EHS strategy and roadmap together with the Department Head and business representatives, in line with our sustainability ambitions
  • Furthermore, establishing and maintaining a lean governance structure for EHS management, including conducting respective audits and facilitation of the ISO 45001 and 14001 certification, is part of your role
  • You are also required to conduct learning teams in response to EHS events and conduct/validate accident investigations to determine root cause and proactive solutions
Your profile.
  • The basis of your success is an above-average university degree (Master preferred) in a technical subject  
  • Building on that, you can demonstrate at least five years professional experience in EHS
  • A professional EHS certification (e.g. Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit) and experience with chemical management and product related regulatory (e.g. EU REACH) experience, would be of further advantage
  • Furthermore, you score with experience and proven understanding of EHS related requirements
  • Complementary, you have experience in driving international projects / programs as well as an affinity and experience in dealing with digitization solutions, applications and data analytics
  • You are strong in the analysis and structuring of challenges and a clear and goal-oriented demeanor, equally to being open-minded for new ways of working,
  • You possess strong networking-, excellent presentation- and interpersonal skills 
  • Proficiency in English due to international experience; completes your profile (with knowledge of other languages, such as German, being of additional advantage)
