About the role

As Communications & Campaign Manager you will be responsible for the overall SPSE communication strategy, including the communications mix for the various products, services and solutions assets, and its implementation across multiple channels. You will be an essential part of the global communications team for Siemens Process Automation, where the approach and execution is data and analytics-based, and always focused on the KPIs relevant to the overall business. Consequently, the SPSE communication is part of a broader perspective of cross-topic customer solutions.

In practice you will have the responsibility for creating and effectively deploying SPSE online content in support of campaign-based marketing of the company’s products and services. This involves using various digital channels to reach customers, build brand awareness and promote products, in such a way that the content, tone and branding of the online content is consistent with the corporate brand and our customer base.  You will have responsibility for promoting the business externally in regard to the employer brand and raising awareness of career opportunities with the company.

The role includes responsibility for working in close alignment with sales, marketing, product management and others to create viable digital media strategies in support of campaigns, build or commission regular and engaging campaign-focused digital marketing content, disseminate this across different digital channels (primarily LinkedIn, but also others as appropriate), and measure the effectiveness of campaigns against defined key objectives. The overall intention is to drive sales through positive online customer experiences that take into account evolving consumer behaviours.

Area of responsibility

  • Working with the relevant people in the business, marketing and communication teams, your responsibilities will include:

·       Developing and implementing strategies that support Sales & Marketing campaigns for Siemens PSE’s products and services, including but not limited to:

o   determining the mix of channels to be deployed (e.g. organic search, social media, website paid advertising, etc.)

o   determining, planning and managing content production requirements and implementation timelines

o   devising key performance indicators (KPIs) for campaigns and methods for measuring performance against KPIs.

o   planning and executing all web and social media activity in support of campaigns as well as required by other parts of the business – e.g. People & Organisation (P&O).

·       Managing various channels such as

o   social media networks, Google Ads and email marketing

o   the campaign-related aspects of website content

in such a way as to:

o   deliver a persuasive and cohesive message to the campaign audience

o   ensure a positive customer experience that is efficient and fulfils customers' and prospects’ needs

o   support the company corporate and product positioning with a high level of web and social media content

o   support sales activities and deliver on KPIs

o   generally ensuring a high level of web and social media content  and maximizing website traffic using the various evolving techniques available

o   support the proposition that Siemens PSE is a great place to work, maximizing traffic to the Siemens PSE careers page and vacancies .

·       Measuring and reporting performance of all channels and campaigns:

o   assess results to understand and demonstrate the effectiveness of specific campaigns

o   provide accurate reports on the return on investment (RoI) of campaigns

o   perform ongoing optimization by evaluating customer experience across various online channels and proposing how to improve it where necessary

o   assessing and improving web marketing best practices including search engine marketing, use of google ad-words and links to other social media channels.

·       Initially, assisting with managing the systematic integration of the Siemens PSE website within the new Siemens web structure, in particular with respect to the subject matter of campaigns

·       Working with sales and marketing to help devise structures and architecture in support of ultimately integrating and automating the web and social media campaigns as far as possible

·       Working with P&O to ensure we have a consistent online employer brand presence and regularly post engaging content for potential employees across social media channels

·       Assisting with key company events e.g. the Advanced Process Modelling Forum as required.
