Then come and join our global team as Working Student (f/m/d) to support us in Scientific Evaluation & Business Analytics.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will support our team in clinical research and clinical evaluation topics
  • This means summarizing the relevant key takeaways of scientific publications and preparing them in an adequate fashion for further utilization and/or presentation
  • You participate in scientific discussions and accompanying our team, supporting with taking meeting minutes and preparing follow-up activities afterwards, incl.
  • You will support the review of clinical publications and trials through research in clinical databases
  • You will summarize the key information from scientific symposia and representing them in an adequate fashion for further consumers (e.g. in PowerPoint)
  • You support us in analytics using Power BI, this means maintaining and continuously evolving our database. Conducting analysis on customer or on product level providing relevant insights to drive our business for cardiovascular care forward
  • You have the ability to visualize the analyzed information in an easily understandable and consumable way
  • You continuously stay in touch with users to receive their feedback to bring analytics to the next level

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You are studying a discipline from the natural sciences or Information Technology, e.g. medical engineering or a discipline from the natural sciences (biology, chemistry, biochemistry etc. in the second half of the Bachelor studies and are available ~15h / week)
  • Ideally, you are studying in a scientific field of study familiar with reading scientific literature and gained first experience with scientific data bases such as PubMed, and EMBASE  
  • You provide IT capabilities, and have an excellent knowledge of MS Office and a basic open-mindedness for other digital tools in general 
  • You have already gained some practical experience through internships or working student jobs 

Your attributes and skills:

  • You are quick on the uptake, have an analytical understanding and work in a structured and independent manner which enables you to work independently  
  • Very important is the ability to summarize and present information adequately (e.g. in PowerPoint)
  • You have communication and teamwork skills and enjoy complex tasks and show initiative
  • You have a very good command of written and spoken English
