Siemens Healthineers, Molecular Imaging is seeking a Management Assistant for its Research department based in our Tennessee headquarters. The department is responsible for identifying and driving technology innovations in molecular imaging relevant to clinicians that are aligned with Siemens Healthineers objectives.
This is a role well suited to an experienced professional, looking for an exciting step in their career. As a Management Assistant, you will be responsible for executing, driving, and optimizing a wide range of processes that are critical to our research operations. You will be working in close collaboration across departments including R&D, product management and marketing & sales.
Examples may include
- Executing Siemens Healthineers’ intellectual property process including hosting quarterly committee meetings to review invention disclosures and monitor time-sensitive decisions and tracking honoraria for inventors
- Academic-industrial grant: Administrative support, effort tracking and reporting for academic-industrial grants including US NIH RO1 grants and European Horizon grants.
- Research processes: Process scientific manuscripts through an internal review process prior to publication, complete orders for R&D innovation projects, ensuring efficient operations in an agile development process
- Scientific advisory boards: Support establishment of scientific advisory board meetings, i.e. completion of contracts, organization of workshops
- General administrative support for research organization
Preferred skills and education in order to succeed in this role:
- A Bachelor’s degree preferred although not required
- 3+ years of previous experience successfully navigating processes in a large organization
- A record in real world problem solving, creative thinking and process integration
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to thrive in a hybrid and fast-paced environment
- Can-do attitude with a passion for healthcare
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent detail orientation and organizational skills, with a track record of adding value to departmental organization processes
