What is the responsibility?
Act as a business-oriented Product Manager for the assigned Products
Define and prioritize the requirements framework for functions to be implemented in the products or systems in accordance with the overarching product and business strategy (as the base for the R&D- opportunities)
Recording, formulating, and evaluating market and customer requirements, market trends, competitor strategies
Identify and evaluate business potentials (unit quantities, customer price readiness, profitability) for products and systems
Stimulate and develop product ideas considering functional and economic aspects, as well as compatibility and spare parts availability
Demonstrate product and system characteristics with their customer and competitive advantages as the basis for the market launch measures to be implemented
Define product delivery stages (e.g., in product roadmaps) with system-level dependencies
Develop pricing models and estimate future sales quantities
Professional management of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM Team) for systems and product families.
price definition, granting sales release, publishing, and maintaining sales information and catalog entries for the products under responsibility
Create Market Entry information and support in promotional activities such as advertising, trade fairs, roadshow, sales/promoter/specialist consultant meetings, information events, trainings
Plan the number of product quantities and ensure delivery capability (together with logistics)
Monitor product-specific key figures (profitability, sales, result) for deviation from plan, if necessary, initiation and execution of measures (e.g., Redesign-to-cost)
