As a member of the Smart Infrastructure communications team, this individual contributor will be responsible to achieve the communication objectives of Electrical Products (EP) Business and support their marketing and business objectives.

  • You will be responsible for retail brand campaign management by being the constant interface between various agencies involved and the business stakeholders, channel partners and regional sales teams.
  • Conduct regular market research and market visits to understand the electrical market.
  • Websites / Microsites to be updated, maintained, and monitored.
  • Preparing the annual marketing communications plan. Tracking the marketing plan and ensuring all activities are completed in a timely manner based on the activity calendar.
  • Liaison:
  • Coordination with different Product Managers for all activities (emailers, advt, websites, point of sales, etc.)
  • Coordination with Promotion Team for all the activities (events, exhibitions)
  • Coordination with Retail Team for retail focus events, merchandise, promo material distribution, promo schemes etc.
  • Coordination with other Businesses for collaborating events / exhibitions
  • Research and communicate business success stories, projects, products, and innovations
  • Ideate and execute retail promotional tool kits to increase awareness
  • Plan and implement retail schemes for channel partners
  • Support sales team activations and channel partner activation plans
  • Responsible for internal communication that include monthly newsletter, weekly press updates and other alerts

General Responsibilities:

  • Implement and manage various communication channels that help drive communication objectives as a part of the integrated communications approach (elements can include, but not limited to, social media, films, digital communications, tradeshows, advertising, public relations, events, promotions, direct mail, website, audio-visual productions, demand generation etc.)
  • Develop content to ensure consistency of message in internal and external communications (e.g., internet, intranet, advertising, press activities, presentations, etc.)
  • Ability to co-ordinate and work with multiple agencies
  • Prepare evaluation report for key activities and events

  • You have a degree (Master / Diploma) in communication, business administration or comparable.
  • Furthermore, you have gained sound professional experience in corporate communications, ideally in B2B marketing in a technical environment.
  • Should have 4-5 years of work experience with a corporate B2B / B2C company in marketing communication or corporate communications OR 4-5 years of advertising agency experience
  • Ability to research, analyze, plan, and implement in the areas of campaign development, message development, communications vehicle development, and management and communications effectiveness measurement
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and networking skills
  • Experience working across all communications channels – internal and external – with a strong focus on new digital tools
  • Strong teaming skills including cross-cultural abilities
  • Ability to track and analyze campaign results
  • Ability to work under time constraints with multiple projects
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English
