Position Overview

Siemens Digital Industries’ Digital Enterprise and Digital Services (DE&DS) group has a new opening for an experienced Digital Enterprise Solution Expert.

The focus of the position is to provide solution expertise to our customers during the design and implementation phase. The focus is on Siemens’ Trusted Traceability solution.

As a Digital Enterprise Solution Expert for Trusted Traceability, you will be responsible for:  

  • Using your knowledge of digital technology to solve client problems and create innovative technical solutions that help businesses to achieve their goals.
  • Delivery of the Trusted Traceability solutions in the form of a project to our customers.
  • Driving the solution customization efforts by collaborating with customers and our development teams.
  • Providing solution specific thought leadership during the design phase.
  • Leading implementation projects during the PoC/PoV, as well as the commercial deployment phase.
  • Provide solution expertise related to functionality and capabilities.
  • Demonstrating broad solutions technical leadership, impacting significant technical direction, and exerting influence outside of the immediate team to drive change

Required Skills 

·        Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 10 years’ experience, or a Masters’ (preferred) and a minimum of 8 years in several of the following areas:

·        Experience with implementing operations technology and enterprise integration architectures in manufacturing.

·        Experience with platforms like Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud, SAP Cloud.

·        Experience with OT (operations technology) systems and networks in manufacturing across industries like Automotive, Food & Beverage, Aerospace, Defense, and Chemicals.

·        Strong understanding of advanced manufacturing technology, including digital and big data (e.g., Smart Factory, IoT, Industry 4.0) as they apply to industrial verticals.

·        Experience in Network Technologies, Windows/Linux virtual machines, Containers/VMs, Storage, Serverless Architecture, Stream Analytics, ML Studio, AI/ML, IoT, Blockchain, App Development

·        Ability to define and communicate the “big picture” in terms of the overall integrated solution (both functional and technical components) and break it down into smaller manageable work units.

Experience leading delivery engagements.
U.S. citizen, as the significant portion of work is Government related
