Within our Smart Building Solutions team, we are looking for a global portfolio manager in automation to shape the future of Building Automation Solutions. In close collaboration with our sales and portfolio colleagues from our four Regions Americas, Germany, Europe and Middle East/Asia-Pacific you will drive success enhancing the offerings for our customers. The nature of this role means you will dive into various markets, teams and products.

Your new responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the global portfolio of building controls as part of the Smart Building Solutions. Set focus on adding value to the Regional Solutions and Service sales channels and to grow the installed base for a successful Service business 
  • Be accountable and drive profitable growth by winning new customers through driving global rollouts of our innovative portfolios and solutions 
  • Develop a deep understanding of user journeys, unmet customer needs and ensure specific requirements are fed into the product roadmaps and delivered
  • Be a change agent and innovator driving IoT/edge automation with early adopters in the market
  • Identify innovative business models for our customers and develop ecosystem with partners

Your skills and experience

We are looking for a forward-thinking, enthusiastic and output oriented team colleague with a proven track record in building automation

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering, computer science or similar education, ideally combined with a further education in business studies
  • 3+ years hands-on experience in implementing building automation projects
  • Well organized, structured and used to work in an international and complex environment
  • Team player with strong international collaboration proficiencies and the ability to lead without formal authority
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English. German and any other language is a plus
