The objective of our Technology department is to define and further develop the Technology of the future for Siemens Business Units. Furthermore, we collect internal and external information to identify promising technologies and customers in order to be prepared to shape the future accordingly.

  • You support us by developing prototypes in embedded hardware development
  • You help us bringing up prototypes by implementing firmware in C++ framework
  • You support us testing setups for electronics and test devices and help us by measurements of mixed-signal circuits to validate functionality
  • You will be involved in soldering, screwing, hacking scripts and finishing setups to create prototypes specifically for IoT applications
  • You will support our technology roadmap by providing recommendations and action plans that are in line with the market and external and internal trends and needs

  • You are an enrolled student with background in technical engineering, information technology or similar engineering study paths
  • You have interest in strategic topics and technology and a qualification as electronic technician is an advantage
  • You have hands-on experience in creating embedded electronics
  • You have hands-on experience in developing C++ firmware for embedded devices
  • Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of German language is an advantage
  • You have an analytic and structured approach to problems, precise and thorough working methods regarding engineering tasks
