Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the architecture of the soft- and hardware component “SRS Connectivity Gateway"
  • You will establish and coordinate development of the gateway in close alignment with our development center in India
  • You will transform business and customer requirements into functional requirements to drive our connectivity digitalization
  • You will evaluate technical value based on business requirements and implementation options during the life cycle of the service, taking economic aspects into consideration
  • You will coordinate related hardware development activities with our external partners
  • You will continuously improve the service on a technological level
  • You will remain true to the principle that cybersecurity is an integral part of our business
  • You will be part of a DevOps team and represent the architecture

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have successfully completed a bachelor's degree in (medical) informatics or another relevant discipline
  • You have several years of experience in automation of CI/CD pipelines as well as in deriving solutions from business requirements and in engineering software requirements
  • Alternatively, you have completed vocational training and further education with many years of professional experience in the above-mentioned areas
  • You have in-deepth skills and experience in network switching, routing and virtual private networks
  • Your profile is characterized by experiences in architecture of complex software and hardware involving multiple components and interfaces
  • You have good knowledge in the areas of e.g., Linux, Kubernetes, Ansible, Icinga, Script languages like Python or Perl, SQL, Node.js and related security technologies


Your attributes and skills:

  • As you will be working with both your German-speaking and an international team, you have very good written and spoken German and English language skills. Intercultural experience is an advantage for the upcoming field of activity
  • Your target orientation and communication skills allow you to manage and drive topics with various international stakeholders
  • On a personal level, you convince through initiative, analytical skills, results orientation, communication skills, teamwork and customer orientation
