Then come and join our global team as Contract Manager / Administrator (f/m/d) Scientific Partnerships for EMEA region to implement our regional contract office process in cooperation with our partners in the different countries of the EMEA region.

This position is limited to 24 months.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will work with us on the harmonization and management of an internal contract template repository covering all contractual modalities in coordination with the legal departments from the individual countries
  • You will support the management of the Project Submission Tool for EMEA, by carrying out the contract creation and the execution of internal release process, as well as forwarding released contracts to country organizations for final signature
  • You will create and release the agreements with regional scientific partners
  • You will prepare continuous statistics and an overview of EMEA projects through Excel and Power BI reports, including PowerPoint presentations
  • You will schedule internal/external workshop organization (this may include workshops with external scientific partners)
  • You will provide support to public funding initiatives in cooperation with key scientific partners (administration tasks related to EU grant proposals, submission process, etc.)
  • You will help us to ensure transparency and proper documentation according to our internal regulations in preparation for internal operational reviews or external audits
  • You will take over back-office administrative tasks related to managing scientific partners activities in the region working hand in hand with our existing regional Contract Manager

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have successfully completed a master's degree with a focus on administration, international relationships, languages, or another relevant field,
  • You have inital experience working in an international legal environment and have been involved in research contract management and negotiation, including intellectual property, data privacy, compliance, and regulatory aspects
  • You have experience in working in international multinational companies in functions requiring intensive interdepartmental interactions and proven intercultural sensitivity. International experience and working in the healthcare industry is an advantage
  • Alternatively, we also welcome applications from people with a bachelor's degree or vocational training and additional years of experience in the mentioned areas
  • You have an excellent command of standard office IT tools (MS Word, MS Excel, Power BI, etc.) at advanced user level, particularly, for creation of complex reports
  • Ideally, you have initial experience working with internal project evaluation and release tools such as CoMfor or the Contract Archive

Your attributes and skills:

  • You possess excellent communication skills in German and English, spoken and written, and can review and modify contracts in both languages. Knowledge of further main languages from the EMEA region would be highly valuable
  • You have excellent organizational skills, process orientation, and attention to detail, while being creative at finding solutions through interpersonal communication
  • You are passionate about healthcare innovation, ideally having industry knowledge of the sector
