At Smart Infrastructure Regional Solutions and Services – Americas (SI RSS RAM), we are looking for an ambitious professional to join Performance Controlling team as Financial Analyst. The Financial Analyst will work closely with all SI RSS RAM businesses, Global Headquarters and local SI Performance Controlling team. This role is responsible for the data consolidation, analysis, as well as budgeting, forecasting and reporting activities. In addition, he/she will be driving cost efficiency initiatives objecting maximum performance. Significant time will be allotted to drive digitalization and automation through the SI finance organization.
The Financial Analyst must possess strong analytical and inter-personal skills as this position will communicate with multiple levels of management and controlling

This position provides leadership development and wide networking across all different functions:  

  • Guiding the monitoring, maintaining, and reviewing of financial records
  • Guiding the coordination and preparation of all financial reporting and annual business plans
  • Guiding the financial analysis and research of very complex business issues to provide top management with financial data and business advice


  • Responsible for the total Regional Solutions and Services – Americas (SI RSS RAM) Forecast and Budget processes and consolidation, as well as long range plan
  • Owner of the consolidation of the SI RSS RAM balance sheet and free cash flow, as well as planner for the US component
  • Reporting owner for the SI RSS RAM Financials and Leadership decks: financials by entity, region, country
  • Content owner for Key Business Data digital reporting (Qlikview), used for all leadership reporting and Global commentaries
  • Various journal entries (accruals and reclass) for the RAM US business
  • Responsible to perform data gathering, root cause analysis and performance trending in order to develop and own appropriate process changes
  • Partner and collaborate effectively with other Finance Teams, Cost Center Owners, Division management, Global Functions, and other Stakeholders throughout Siemens
  • Continuous process improvement to achieve highest data quality to meet any given deadline and promote innovation within our standard reporting processes

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience

  • Accounting knowledge and understanding of Siemens Financial Reporting Guidelines
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, and advanced analysis required
  • Analysis for Office, SAP and VBA knowledge a plus
  • Strong detail orientation with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multi-cultural business environment
  • Experience leading projects
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Proficiency in digital tools (e.g. UiPath, Knime, Alteryx, Qlik, Tableau) a plus
  • BS/BA in related discipline, or advanced degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
