Today, we are recruiting for “Head of Sales and Bid “position to Join our team in Türkiye. This is an excellent career opportunity for experienced Sales professionals from the Rail /Transportation Business looking to join a truly international team.

Job Summary:

Defines and ensures implementation of sales strategy, policies, and guidelines for an assigned organizational unit.

Your Role – International, Challenging and Future-Oriented!

  • Defines and ensures implementation of sales strategy, policies, and guidelines, in line with the overall business strategy of the assigned organizational unit.
  • Ensures accomplishment of strategic market research and key customer surveys to identify respective strategic business opportunities.
  • Defines key markets and supports definition and identification of key customers in the assigned area of responsibility.
  • Drives and monitors key market development programs.
  • Ensures effective sales setup capitalizing synergies in collaboration within and across Siemens units (i.e., aligned setups, aligned processes, aligned incentive schemes, etc.)
  • Ensures an effective sales organization and infrastructure to foster cooperation with other parts of the value chain (i.e., Marketing & Communication, Business Development and Strategy, etc.)
  • Agrees on subordinated function related budget plans and sets and monitors achievement of respective targets.
  • Acts as ultimate point of escalation to solve mission critical issues and problems.
  • Heads overall assigned sales organization and leads all related management and staff.

Your Qualifications and Skills – Digital and Solid!

  • Must have a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) in Communications, Business Administration, Business Management, Marketing, or any other related field. An equivalent of this requirement in working experience is also acceptable.
  • Must have had working experience of at least 8 to 10 years in a sales position within a complex and fast-paced railway and transportation business environment.
  • Project experience desirable
  • Strong Leadership Skills
  • Functional management experience necessary
  • International experience and involvement in international teams (necessary for international business)
  • Relevant market knowledge in Türkiye
  • Contract law (national and international)
  • Experience working with sales account databases and CRM platforms
  • Commercial knowledge
  • Fluent in English and Turkish
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
