Be part of our Sales & Business Development Team in Dubai as a Sales Manager – GCC (Digital Aviation Solutions).

What are my job responsibilities?

  • Drive business development for existing and new opportunities for Digital Aviation Solutions in the Middle East region.
  • Directly responsible for exceeding sales plans on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis for Digital Aviation solutions.
  • Provides accurate and timely monthly forecasts to the upper management.
  • Develops and presents the monthly business review of KPIs for assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Provide business and technical expertise to qualify opportunities and position Digital Aviation solutions offerings with our customers.
  • Comfortable working with and understanding the needs of multiple departments and levels within the customer’s organization.
  • Brings Digital Aviation solutions subject matter experts into opportunities, as necessary, to demonstrate solutions to customers.
  • Provides input & feedback on current and future Digital Aviation solutions offering development & refinement, including the voice of the customer.
  • Communicating with customers, understanding their business needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process and excellent customer experience.
  • Keep abreast of new changes and updates of our product and service and able to explain and demonstrate to the customers the key features of our products and services.
  • Collaborate closely with the team to sell complete projects, and ensure a good flow of information from customers to internal departments who are involved in the chain of the process e.g., Sales, Bid and Product Management, Engineering, Technology, and Customer Service.
  • Open communication and frequent updates of market information to the Sales Head and supporting teams.
  • Comply with Siemens Logistics guidelines for pricing, contract, and payment terms.
  • Provide and consolidate pricing strategy, drive for order intake and price quality.
  • Actively managing and using the CRM tools with all its aspects.
  • Support marketing activities in the region.

What do I need to qualify for this role?

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Electronics/IT or relevant field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business development or selling “Aviation Digital Solutions” to the “Airport/Airline/Cargo” industry.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees/management and experience in a cross-functional matrix reporting structure.
  • Excellent analytical and interpersonal skills with strong problem solving and critical thinking capabilities.
  • Sales leadership experience within complex product and/or solution-oriented organizations.
  • Strong business acumen demonstrated, including business case development, strong rhetorical skills, natural teaming and collaboration skills, achievement-oriented, and highly savvy in technology and digital information.
  • Proficiency in Sales Automation and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software - Experience with Salesforce will be an advantage.
  • Comfortable in doing a presentation to high-level customers, government, authority, and substantial audiences. 
  • Strong technical background and expertise with solution selling and high-quality consultation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Eager to learn and constantly seek to improve professionally through technical and other training.
  • Comfortable working across time zones: Asia Pacific, Middle East, and Europe.
