Siemens is looking for a Sr. Financial Advisor, they will be responsible to provide Financial Advisory
support to the Siemens Mobility
units and entities in the
structuring and arranging of
financing
for rolling stock, turnkey
and rail infrastructure as well as accompanying mobility customer service projects. Orchestrate financial institutions and other parties
(e.g. banks, institutional investors,
ECAs, Siemens own balance sheet units, …) to create market
edge
sales financing solutions
as well as to advise on
financial risk analysis and risk allocation
/
mitigation concepts impacting Siemens Mobility supply
contracts.
Management of the financing for e.g. rolling stock, turnkey, and rail infrastructure as well as accompanying mobility customer service projects, including
· Project screening, financial risk analysis and advisory on financial viability of projects
· Development of tailor-made financial solutions for customers of the Siemens Mobility
· Development of risk mitigation strategies
· Liaison/negotiation with all project parties, including project proponents, banks and institutional investors through financial close
· Managing of the Siemens internal approval process for supplier financings of Siemens Mobility
Responsibilities
·
Proactively
structure/manage the financing
of Siemens Mobility
transactions
within, and originating out of, the
Americas.
· Orchestrate the banks and other institutions to create competitive, market edge sales financing solutions.
· Support Siemens Mobility throughout the project cycle - from initial marketing & sales activities through implementation – by structuring, arranging and executing financing solutions.
· Advise Siemens Mobility on payment risk mitigation as well as the structuring of performance security instruments (e.g. stand-by letters of credit and surety bonds).
Education
· College degree and similar work experience, MBA or similar advanced degree preferred
Other Skills or Experience
· Strong communications skills and ability to interface with customers in a sales related environment
· Deeper knowledge in project finance, managed equipment service, trade and export finance and performance contracting
· Deeper knowledge in rail and infrastructure industries
· Experience in the long-term institutional investor market and Latin America is a plus
· Foreign languages a plus, especially Spanish and Portuguese
· 10+ years working experience in related fields.
