The Integrated Circuit Design group at Siemens is seeking a dynamic and motivated Product Manger to help drive rapid customer adoption and future product direction of Siemens's mixed-signal IC flow. This position provides a unique and highly visible opportunity to contribute to Siemens's fast growing mixed-signal IC business by being a key technical player in defining product strategy for the Custom-IC Flow and growing a strong user base through pre-sales and post-sales activities. The role involves close interaction with worldwide sales teams, R&D, and customers. Responsibilities include leading customer evaluations, developing compelling technical requirements, training worldwide sales engineers, creating product collateral, supporting seminars and trade shows.
A successful applicant will have BS or MS in electrical engineering or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in custom IC layout and routing is essential. A working knowledge of the rest of the flow is also required including schematic capture, simulation, and verification. Position requires well developed written and oral communication skills. The ability to write Python, or TCL scripts, good knowledge of Unix. The position requires travel up to 10%.
