Senior Software Developer (C++) (m/f/d)

As E-Mobility department of Siemens we are working on Charging Station software and corresponding connection to IoT Cloud Backends.

What are your main responsibilities?

  • Work in a C++ environment mainly for Linux platforms;
  • Enhance and maintain existing (C++) code base;
  • Contribute during all phases of project lifecycle;
  • Work with QA and support teams to address issues that arise during development and testing.

What do you need to qualify for this job?

  • 5+ year experience writing well-designed, high-quality production code modern C++ (C++17 and/or C++20);
  • Experience with a static code analyzer;
  • Experience with a Unit Testing Library/Framework;
  • Experience working in an agile team;
  • Willingness to dive into existing code base;
  • As well as C++ knowledge, it would also be beneficial if you had experience in any of the following areas:
    • Knowledge of Python or any other scripting language;
    • Familiarity with build and deployment technologies and tracking systems (Jenkins, Github, Jira);
    • Basic knowledge in C in Linux Kernel & Driver level.
  • Upper-Intermediate level of English.
