Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Effective from March 15, 2022 to December 31, 2022 inclusive, individuals working in medical facilities must be able to present a certificate of COVID-19 immunity in accordance with Section 20a of the German Law on Protection against Infection (IfSG – Infektionsschutzgesetz). This does not apply to individuals who cannot be vaccinated against coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 on account of a medical contraindication. A corresponding certificate in accordance with Section 20a IfSG is a prerequisite for the commencement of employment.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for on-site and remote customer training, Biograph mMR PET-MR scanner configurations and applications, as well as providing information on the latest scientific trends in the field.
  • You prepare courses, teach application specialists and customers in your area of expertise in cooperation with the Siemens Training Center
  • In cooperation with the Business Line MR you will develop and improve products and software. For example, you participate in internal knowledge exchange activities, provide feedback for product improvements based on your training experience, support usability or system tests, etc.
  • You will act as a contact person for our regional and/or headquarter support centres for questions regarding Biograph mMR.
  • You will develop new training concepts and tools
  • You will also be responsible for MR protocol consulting projects to develop tools for analysing MR protocols and scanner usage.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a master's degree in medical technology
  • You already have several years of experience in the clinical or research field. You have acquired sound knowledge in the field of MRI and Biograph mMR PET-MR systems.
  • Alternatively, you have a doctorate in this field
  • You are well versed in clinical and research applications, including protocol improvement and sequence optimisation
  • You keep up to date with the latest research topics and state of the art technology
  • Ideally you will have teaching/training experience in this area
  • Programming skills in Python and/or C# are an advantage

Your attributes and skills:

  • You are fluent in English as you will be working with our international teams and clients. Other language skills are an advantage
  • You have a passion for teaching and sharing knowledge Exceptional communication skills and presentation/training skills are required
  • You have global responsibilities. Therefore, you are willing to travel (up to 50% internationally)
  • You have an eye for the latest education trends and are willing to adapt and innovate
  • You are a team player with a can-do attitude
