SIEMENS Large Drives Applications (LDA) develops and produces powerful electrical drive systems for the medium and high voltage range: electric motors, converters and generators. We also offer special large drives for ships, mines and rolling mills. Our digitization competence and our tailor-made service ensure that our drives remain powerful and state-of-the-art.

Large Drives Applications is one of the portfolio companies of SIEMENS AG, is the world market leader with its high-voltage motors and medium-voltage converters and also offers complete solutions for the Minerals/Mining, O&G und Metals industries.

Our portfolio company is currently in the carve-out process. 

We will then continue to successfully organize our international business as Siemens Large Drives GmbH and further expand and optimize it in the lead country Austria with our assigned countries (CZ, PL, SK, RS, RO and UA) as well as close cooperation with our headquarters.

To strengthen our sales team in Austria, we are looking for a motivated Commercial Project Management Professional (f/m/d) with experience in the field of system and project business for our office in Vienna.

Nobody is perfect, but a team can be!

  • You will take over the commercial project management from order intake till project closure and will function as the main commercial contact for customers and sales colleagues and support our sales organization in commercial and contractual topics as well as active communication with our factories and suppliers is within your area of responsibility
  • Management of all financial and commercial aspects in the acquisition process (including possible business models, LoA / PM@Siemens, incoming order calculations and monthly ongoing calculations, terms of payment and payment plans, financing topics, bank guarantees, credit risk management, currency management, insurance requirements, cash flow, ECC, PATAC etc.)
  • You identify additional chances in the project and elaborate on solutions/strategies
  • Together with the Project manager you steer the project team and collaborate closely; furthermore you plan regular project status meetings, prepare the project reporting and take care of special topics concerning the project management
  • Responsibility for commercial contract management with support from the legal department as well as risk, claim management and management of receivables
  • Operative order handling and order processing as well as order tracking in our systems (SAP, PPR ...) …you support adherence to processes and rules according to the corresponding guidelines and processes (IFRS, Revenue Recognition / PoC-Guideline ...) are part of your tasks
  • Collaboration in optimizing commercial processes, improving data quality in order to increase the degree of digitization and automation
  • You will also prepare data for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

What you need to make real what matters.

  • Completed higher commercial education (WU, Uni, FH, HAK) in the field of business administration or similar
  • Several years of experience (at least 5 years) in project management and in-depth knowledge of the commercial, sales environment
  • You are well versed in Office applications, good knowledge of SAP is a prerequisite
  • Idealy you have a certification as CPM according CPM@Siemens
  • You have knowledge in Claim Management, in calculations and controlling, on handling permanent establishments and in ICFR
  • You are characterized by customer, result and quality orientation
  • Teamwork, reliability, an independent and structured way of working are what defines your strengths
  • For the local and international collaboration, you communicate in German and English, further foreign language skills are an advantage
  • Technical understanding and interest
  • Willingness to travel in the sales area

Our compensation and benefits package includes a competitive base annual salary starting at min. €54.000,- and can substantially raise based on your already achieved education and experience levels.
