About the role

As Marketing Manager for SPSE, you are responsible for the global marketing strategy for SPSE’s digital process technology. This involves working with the various business stakeholders to develop and implement international marketing concepts, and track and analyze the respective marketing measures. Together with the marketing team you have a close cooperation with your counterparts in the business unit, sales, and the central communication department. You will also have responsibility for promoting the business externally in regard to the employer brand and raising awareness of career opportunities with the company.

Area of responsibility

Working with the relevant people in the business, marketing and communication teams, your responsibilities will include:

·       Management of global marketing for SPSE. This includes continuous development and implementation of a future-oriented marketing strategy, especially in digital marketing, as well as related planning and budget control

·       Definition, coordination, and implementation of 360° marketing measures (online, social media, virtual events, and fairs, etc.) in line with the Siemens rules and processes

·       Development of the marketing content and stories for all relevant target groups

·       Continual observation of competitors’ marketing activities and evaluation of the effectiveness of the measures and the chosen media channels

·       Continuous assessment, analysis of new possibilities and adaptation of the marketing mix according to the relevant touchpoints along the customer journey, with a strong focus on the digital world

·       A special focus on close and effective cooperation with all relevant stakeholders.

Your qualifications

·       You are a creative forward thinker with technical background and a love of innovative initiatives

·       You live Ownership Culture

·       You have completed your studies in science or engineering, or marketing with focus on technical aspects

·       You either have background knowledge in scientific or engineering concepts, or can grasp abstract complex concepts quickly and present them in a way understandable to non-experts

·       You can demonstrate know-how of applications / areas of use, competitors, and customer solutions

·       You are fluent in English and can write compelling copy
