As Siemens RSS, we offer our customers a cyclical and holistic solution in the field of sustainability. Energy & Performance Services (EPS)
is spearheading the SI growth in the grid edge market where energy efficient and connected buildings meet the evolving grid environment. We focus on helping customers to reduce their energy consumption, to become more sustainable and to be more resilient in terms of energy supply. We develop and execute projects covering a variety of technologies including energy conservation measures, clean energy generation, storage, micro grids, and manufacturing process-related equipment. In addition, we also
provide market leading digital services to help customers efficiently monitor and manage their energy, operations and maintenance activities and environmental footprint. Our EPS scope include consulting, planning & design, turn-key implementation, operation and service works. We are searching for an experienced, motivated and enthusiastic energy sales engineer who will identify, develop and finalize new sales opportunities.


This is your role. What part will you play:

  • Connect and build relationship with existing and new customers to identify and qualify sales leads (develop sales funnel)
  • Coordinate with energy engineers to reveal EPS potentials and meet customer needs
  • Develop comprehensive proposal that includes technical solutions, BoQ, costing, financial solutions, overall cost savings and payback/ROI calculations
  • Make presentations representing our EPS department at customer meetings, seminars and the other organizations
  • Work with operations, finance, procurement, legal, and other inside and outside resources to obtain customer commitment
  • Conduct and finalize contract negotiation in coordination with the contract manager
  • Make required preparation for efficient project handover to Project Management
  • Keep current on market and business trends as well as local legislation in energy efficiency
  • Coordinate with other business units of Siemens working on energy efficiency and to contribute to the production of common strategies
What skills and experience will you bring to the role?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business or other field relevant to our business
  • 5+ years of consultative selling experience; energy performance contracting, renewable energy, building automation, energy storage project experience preferred
  • Technical knowledge of energy baseline, measurement & verification, energy management system, energy storage, solar energy systems, HVAC systems, pumps, compressed air units, industrial heat recovery, boilers and building management systems preferred
  • Basic knowledge of ESG management and commercial fundamentals
  • Strong teammate with good interpersonal skills and customer focused
  • Excellent communication skills at different levels up to the management level
  • Fluent English both written and spoken
